Tea Tone is an independent record label, clubnight & podcast, currently based in London Town.

It's that time of year when blogs round up & chart all the amazing stuff that's happened in 2015, and predict what's gonna be hot in the year to come. Well I ain't doing that, but as chance would have it, we just don't have the time to keep this page active right now and finally, at last, there are actually some great sites out there doing a fantastic job of finding new music.

Jeeps have been locked away recording a brand new single Fairweather Blue, on the wonderful boat studio Grand Cru, and that's where all our energies are currently focussed.

So where does this leave Tea Tone? The Podcast is on hold because it takes almost 2 days straight to record & edit an episode, and we've a backlog of 4 or 5 that I haven't even had the chance to listen back through yet. As a label we're gonna leave the band stuff to Strawport Records to release, and focus on small acoustic singles, but not for a few months. And in any case, I'm often just sharing new songs & videos by bands we've already covered, so here's a list of who we think are the most interesting artists out there right now, and you can keep in touch with them directly via Facebook or whatever -

Bigott

Death & The Penguin

The Drives

Lady Skins

Laura Stevenson

Marta Rosa

Mystified

So Cow

The Venus Lyx

Rar! JEEPS debut album Muster Point has been getting some lovely reviews recently & we've been working on new material, here's the new video EP Channel 10 -

Lots of changes at the moment, as we're moving a lot of things out from underneath the Tea Tone umbrella. We now have a sister label Strawport Records who keep things pretty simple, and our infamous clubnight Velouria has gone to live with them for a spell, first event Tue 29th Dec at the Treaty. Jeeps are in rehearsals, writing new material, and though Muster Point is right there on the JEEPS website for anyone to listen to, we're delaying an official release to give us more time for promotion. To compensate for this, we have a surprise Jeeps release due out this Sat 28th Nov, in an unusual format..

This is FAB. Hope you also enjoy -

We've got a ton of footage from the tour that Jet Tea filmed on his brand new GoPro - a camera so modern that I can't view the footage on my old '07 Mac, so instead of the planned tour documentary we'll have to make do with some Instagram mini-videos for now. Here's Jet Tea & myself, lost in Wuppertal at some ungodly hour -

Lots of changes taking place, and finally time to take a breath. Didn't manage to get the JEEPS album Muster Point finished in time for the tour, but it's online in draft form now until it goes live on iTunes/Spotify etc, have a spin -

Hey all! We're back from a tour that had "Don't Go" written all over it, but now that we're home at last and made final damage assessments it would appear that we're still alive after all, and had quite an adventure along the way. I'm in no place whatsoever to be telling stories now, but here's a fantastic new video from Solid Goold whose tour was cut short on day 1 when they were sent home by London airport security -

Though it made us very sad to update it, here is the current tour schedule for JEEPS.

Time for a fresh page here, the previous button on the left there will take you back in time. Soo, since Solid Goold didn't get through border control in the UK, we've had to scout around to find suitably brilliant replacements for the Halloween shows, whereupon we stumbled across this amazing band Lady Skins who can't play on this occasion but we're very happy to have found their music regardless, check it out, so good -
