Sun 27th Oct: Maaan, we're off to the States in a few hours. I'm sitting up in this dreadful storm, putting finishing touches on the singles that will now be released on Wed. Just came back from playing the Spice downtown, great show, played one for Lou Reed who died today (Sunday Morning?) A sweet Swedish chap actually came on stage to give Eddie some cash as a tip for playing Uti Var Hage, and some fantastic Russian guys signed a bank note for us too as a gift, thanks everyone! Just had a sneak preview of the completed Albert Goold album, and I know I keep saying this but - we'll play a song from that on the Podcast when we finally have a second to upload one! The roof here in Ruislip has buckled under the storm showers so I'm moving all my stuff out of the way of the falling raindrops. Seeya at Sidewalk Cafe tomorrow evening then? |
Sat 26th Oct: Oh dear, looks like we're due to fly to America during one of the biggest storms this country has seen in a while. Somebody clap my hand. Gonna finally get a new podcast up before we go which'll feature one of the new singles & a recent interview we did with Jimbo m'lad from Scarlet Soho. And how good is that new Goldfrapp album? |
Sat 26th Oct: Well now, nearly killed myself trying to get those 6 tracks done in time for a Sunday release but a little hitch means that the release date has been moved back to Wednesday 30th, sorry about that but it will be so very worth it. Musicians featuring on these releases include drummerboots Riley, Sas, Jae & Rachel from England & The April, Hana Piranha, Markus Halvorsen Karijord and of course Edvina Fahlqvist & myself. Down At The Philosophy Bar is just us two, so you get to hear me on drums.. |
