Fri 17th Jan:
Words words words, call me this & riddle me that, do you have any idea how vague your accusations are? People are so fucking vague, the succinct is extinct. That's why Instagram is better than Facebook! But still murdered by the Like count. Foolish to argue with an image. Stats have been the death of us. Forget numbers, messages or meaning, I'm talking about direct channeling. Have you ever just smiled down a phone in silence? That's the ticket. If only music could escape the surrounding bullshit. Like what you like, you're wrong but you're right - Vague enough for ya? I get it now. Let's live again, fuck you.

Tue 14th Jan:
Bring the drums:

Mon 13th Jan:
Thinking about feminists who use the expression 'man up'. I doubt they'd appreciate being asked to behave in a ladylike fashion once in a while. You wouldn't know a real man if you saw it. Axe to grind, but I'm more Oceans than Glorified G. Apartment hunting near Camden. Low Light. Another new potential drummer, Swedish this time, I'm outnumbered. Finally managed to make a decent coffee with this mug-shaped sieve thing. Playing at Proud in Camden tomorrow evening, early set at 8pm. Who's in hiding?

Sun 12th Jan:
You've probably noticed that there have been no podcasts recently, this is because we've been so busy playing at least one show every evening that there has been no time at all for recording & editing, but we will do one very soon just to draw a line under the last year & there will be more episodes every so often in the future.

JEEPS are booking shows anywhere & everywhere for 2014 so please get in touch to host us, seeya soon wherever you are!

Fri 10th Jan:
Playing a fab free entry show tonight at the Islington in Angel, here's a link to the event, click attending for a free shot of Sambuca from the bar: Islington Show

Played a cafe in Uxbridge last night, then moved on to discover an amazing open mic upstairs at The Junction in Harrow on the Hill. These are fast becoming wonderful, magical times, and I feel like we're on a good path again indeed. Still looking for other musicians to work with (we need a keyboard player & drummer) but we're not waiting around for anyone.

"There is no hope. There is the present. Either that is enough, the present, or there is nothing. I sat & looked at the lake. It was beautiful as paradise, as the first creation."
D. H. Lawrence.

Wed 8th Jan 2014:
Booking shows everywhere for the coming months, see thebed.co.uk for details on that. I have massively diminished my social circle recently & feel better for it. We are eating & we are playing well.

Tue 7th Jan 2014:
I love Ô Paon's previous work, and found this wonderful recent release by her almost by accident:

Fri 3rd Jan 2014:
Playin' some tunes with JEEPS (piano & bass) tonight at the Torriano in Camden/Kentish Town if yer about. Will try record a podcast while we're out & about 'cos if I record one at home it'll end with me squealing over Sciabin's White Mass.

I've had a massive psychological block about recording vocals for the overdue acoustic single from JEEPS 'cos, quite honestly, it sounds so good that I've been afraid to ruin it. But last night I had a bash & I think I've nailed it.. will perform a Carpenters song tonight to celebrate.

Sun 30th Dec:
Oh man I love this time of year, the cusp of a fresh start, an empty calendar. Starting rehearsals with new drummer next week, also gonna experiment with being Murdered Man's backing band for a spell & see how that works out! Been playing chess & listening to this exquisite Rocketship song a lot:

Sat 29th Dec:
As I sift though the (quite literally) tens of amazing photos we've had sent in via e-mail and helicopter-drops, I find that the panda competition will be forced to remain open for the foreseeable future until a clear winner is established.

In other news, I've opened a music section with a semiquaver button at the top of the page, which is gonna be a list of bands we know & love with a little personal history thrown in. Keep an eye on that!
