Wow that 'new' Rentals album is fantastic, surely the best thing Matt Sharp has ever done outside of Weezer, very glad i finally got round to giving it a spin. S'called Lost In Alphaville, highly recommended, couple tracks in playlist above.

Saw Soviet Space Bat play at Elixir Bar near Mornington Crescent last night, always amazing to watch him perform, and the venue was superb too. How many thousands of shows have I seen in and around Camden Town alone, and still I'm finding new venues on a daily basis. No wonder it's so difficult to find recognition here, and it also explains why the standard is so high with all that competition.

Went to see Dega Breaks play at Barfly after that. They are very, very old friends of mine, and caught up with a whole crew that I've not seen in many, many years. Ah me.

Jae from England & The April is playing with a brilliant band called Zealous Yen, and it's their first show tonight, at Buffalo Bar in Highbury & Islington. I'm drinking, but I'm not drunking, an intriguing challenge that I didn't completely fail last night.

We're on Twitter now, gonna use that to spread the word of all this wonderful new music with the power of the hashtag. @TeaToneTweets - Also I'm on there as @HottieRedfoot and Jeeps as @JeepsLondon

Jeeps playing acoustic set at The Islington in Angel tonight, 8pm stage time. Last show without drums in all likelihood, said that before though!

New page then. Sobriety is the order of the day this week. Jae from England & The April has a new band called Zealous Yen who have their first show at Buffalo Bar on Saturday night. God I'm zonked.
