Sat 5th March 2011 Signing out of Jet Tea Week now, but I just found this old pic of him & wanted to share. Still king of the floor: |
Fri 4th March 2011 Everything has been a little hazy since Jet Tea's birthday on Wed, even though he wasn't there. I usually organise a night for him in London with live music etc, so Me & William played a show as Jeeps at the Library in Highbury in his honour. That's where the video of Bees came from, filmed by And. Then there was a little party that lasted until today, and sometime this week I recorded the version of Your Starkself below, worked at Rain Spa some more & delivered magazines in the Springlight on the Chesham hills. I'm off to New York in a few days & have a solo show booked out there with Albert Goold & Myles Manley on the same bill, that'll be a fab night at Lit Lounge on the 16th. No doubt I'll be involved in other Albert Goold shows while I'm there, and I'll be filming plenty, so it's no surprise that from Monday it'll be New York Week on Tea Tone. Here are a few pics which blend this week's theme with the next: |

Mon 28th Feb 2011 Two (or three?) years after the runaway success that was Where Is Jet Tea; a slice of actual realty filmed in what is now narrowly known as the Jet Tea Bar in New York, a star-studded cast with a camera that has no Night Mode option return to the original location to re-shoot the events in far lower quality video. Joe Gardner features as Weird Yank #1. |
Mon 28th Feb 2011 Jet Tea survived both recent Christchurch earthquakes, and has a birthday on Wed, so this week is his! Welcome. |
